Resumen

In 2015-2016 citrus fertilization field trials were initiated, the goal of these trials is to scrutinize the effectiveness of a few promising products (Harrell’s controlled release fertilizer, Tiger® micronutrient mix, foliar nutritional sprays) and to quantify improvements to citrus tree health and productivity. These trials are being conducted in collaboration with Florida citrus growers for a total duration of 3 years. In this article we present the results of year 1 for information purpose and at least 2-3 years of data should be considered before making any changes to fertilization/nutrition program. It is also recommended that before making any changes to a fertilizer program for HLB-affected or healthy trees, leaf and soil nutrient analysis and soil pH test should be performed and taken into consideration.
