The Goals of Pest Management

Resumen

This article discusses the goals of pest management; prevention, eradication, and supression. Readers will gain an understanding of these three goals and the methods used to acheive desired pest populations. The article defines Integrated Pest Management and explains how multiple methods are used together to control different types of pests. The article will be published in Citrus Industry magazine. Readers will have the opportunity to earn 1 core Continuing Education Unit for their Restricted Use Pesticide license, by submitting and passing the test at the end of the article.
