Abstract
Los probióticos son conocidos como “bacterias buenas.” Frecuentemente cuando pensamos en las bacterias, pensamos en las que causan enfermedades. Aunque hay muchas bacterias que causan enfermedades, hay muchas otras que son benéficas para nuestra salud. Los probióticos son microorganismos vivos, los cuales cuando son administrados en cantidades adecuadas, proveen un beneficio para la salud.
