This document provides an overview of the ice plant (Carpobrotus edulis), a ground cover plant commonly found in California and occasionally tested in Florida. It details the plant’s characteristics, including its growth habit, leaf and flower features, and its high drought tolerance. The document also discusses the plant’s invasive potential, its preferred growing conditions, and the challenges it faces in Florida, such as root rot in irrigated landscapes.
