Abstract

This document provides an overview of the Philodendron selloum, a large-leaved, easily grown shrub that makes a dramatic, tropical statement in landscapes. It details the plant’s physical characteristics, including its deeply divided, medium green leaves, and its ability to grow up to 12 feet in height with a spread of 10 to 15 feet. The document also covers the plant’s growing conditions, such as its preference for part shade to full sun and moisture-retentive soil, and its suitability for various uses, including mass planting, container growth, and indoor cultivation. Additionally, it highlights the plant’s moderate drought tolerance, pest resistance, and propagation methods.
