Abstract

This document provides an overview of the ‘Alice Dupont’ allamanda, an attractive evergreen vine known for its deep pink, funnelform blooms and dark green leaves. It details the plant’s characteristics, including its moderate growth rate, dense habit, and year-round flowering in USDA hardiness zones 10 and 11. The document also covers its planting requirements, such as full sun and well-drained soil, and highlights its uses in hanging baskets and cascading down walls. Additionally, it notes the plant’s moderate drought tolerance, poor soil salt tolerance, and lack of serious pest issues. Original publication date October 1999.
