Abstract

The article will be a general overview of the benefits of cover crops in citrus, as well as some of the challenges. Cover crops in citrus can improve soil health, which can impact root growth and nutrient uptake of citrus, as well as reduce weed density. However, most of the information on growing cover crops comes from their use with annual crops, so there are some additional challenges to growing cover crops within a citrus grove.
