Abstract

The publication on Sedum x 'Autumn Joy' highlights it as a drought-tolerant, herbaceous perennial. It grows 1.5–3 feet tall, features fleshy, gray-green leaves, and produces clusters of pink flowers that turn coppery and rust-colored in fall. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, attracting bees and butterflies. The plant is ideal for mass plantings, borders, and rock gardens, and has minimal pest or disease issues. It can be propagated through cuttings or division. Original publication date October 1999.
