Abstract

The century plant, or Agave family, is an incredibly diverse group of rosette-forming perennials. Agave are available to suit almost every climate zone in the U.S. with cold hardy forms that can withstand single-digit temperatures. This document is ENH 992, one of a series of the Environmental Horticulture Department, Florida Cooperative Extension Service, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, University of Florida.
