This is a special issue for presentations at the the 2020 FERA Conference. The aim of the annual FERA Special Issue is to share those presentations beyond the conference audience. We are excited to provide this opportunity and thank you for submitting your work!
FJER Special Issue Proposals
Florida Educational Research Association Annual Conference
The Florida Educational Research Association (FERA) annual conference includes a professional development session for educational researchers, several concurrent presentation sessions on a wide variety of educational research topics, a graduate student poster session, receptions, coffee breaks, and the annual business meeting and awards luncheon. FERA is one of the oldest state-level educational research professional associations in the United States. Meet university professors, K-12 district assessment and evaluation directors, educational administrators, state educational representatives, teachers, and graduate students from across the state of Florida.
Florida Journal of Educational Research
The Florida Journal of Educational Research (FJER) is published by the Florida Educational Research Association (FERA). The purpose of FJER is to facilitate communication among educators, policy-makers, and researchers in the state of Florida and beyond. Although the Journal is the primary publication of FERA, manuscripts submitted by both members and nonmembers of the association will be considered for publication. FJER has been published since 1959, originally as a print journal distributed to all members of FERA. In 1996, the journal began to publish online articles and is now exclusively published online as an open-access academic journal. FJER publishes original research, literature reviews, implementation and evaluation studies, and theoretical, conceptual, and policy papers that contribute to our understanding of the issues, problems, and research associated with educational environments. Articles for consideration should report the results of research conducted in Florida or address issues important to the Florida education research community. Articles for consideration do not have to originate from the state of Florida.
We encourage and accept submissions for both the annual conference and FJER through this website.
