Abstract

Utilization of Data Science skills are becoming commonplace within traditional STEM fields. Students can gain exposure to practical experience of demonstration of their chosen STEM field with a Data Science focus through internship programs. Herein is a case study of a graduate degree internship program that afforded Chemical Engineering students with industrial experiences with an R&D environment to determine how effective such a program could be for students and industry
