M.M. Zaki, Lakehead University

Magdy Zaki is a graduate of Alexandria Uni­versity and received his PhD in 1991. He worked as Assistant Professor in Zagazig University, Egypt, and as Senior Consultant to DANIDA, Denmark/Env. Affairs Agency, Egypt. He was a Visiting Scientist at the University of Wiscon­sin, Madison, and has been a Visiting Profes­sor at Lakehead University.

I. Nirdosh, Lakehead University

lnder Nirdosh received his BSc and MSc in chemical engineering from Panjab University (India) and his PhD from Birmingham University (United Kingdom). He joined Lakehead University in 1981, and his research interests are in the fields of mineral processing and electrochemical engineering.

G.H. Sedahmed, Lakehead University

G.H. Sedahmed is Professor of Chemical Engineering at Alexandria University, Egypt. He received his BSc, MSc, and PhD from Alexandria University and was a Visiting Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (1970), McMaster University (1974-76, 1980-82), and Lakehead University (1989-93).

M.H.I. Baird, Lakehead University

Malcolm Baird received his PhD in chemical engineering from Cambridge University in 1960. After some industrial experience and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Edinburgh, he came to McMaster University. His research interests are liquid-liquid extraction, oscillatory fluid flows, and hydrodynamic modeling of metallurgical processes.
