Abstract

This paper discusses replacing the classical oral presentation in senior plant design with a formal business meeting. This format provides students with a more realistic industrially relevant format for presenting their knowledge and removes many of the complications of assigning individual grades to group project presentations. This method was preferred by both the faculty and the students. Details for implementing the business meeting are discussed.
