Metalmarks (Riodinidae) are particularly beautiful subjects for the butterfly photographer. Presented herein are 43 photographs of riodinids in nature, and one picture of a riodinid-mimicking hesperiid, from Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru.
