Abstract
During the period spanning from the 1940s to the 1970s, Eduardo Hernández Toledo, widely recognized as "Guayo," played a pivotal role in democratizing the political culture of Cuba. Throughout his thirty-five-year career, his contributions as a journalist were unparalleled.
