Al's ALS
Abstract
In my head I rename ALS from Lou Gehrig's Disease to Al's ALS when my father, Alfred, is diagnosed with the illness at 76. The untreatable and always-fatal disease takes him just three months after his diagnosis, possible due to extremely difficult decisions his family is forced to make.
