Abstract

Tallahassee is a source of inspiration for me. Melete is the Greek word for meditation and means to ponder or contemplate. It is used several times in scripture. I wrote this poem after a prayer while studying in our neuroscience block.

William Butler, Florida State University College of Medicine

William Butler is a medical student at the Florida State University College of Medicine. In undergrad, he majored in psychology and minored in writing and rhetoric. He also performed contrabass and piano in the UCF Symphony Orchestra and the UCF College of Medicine Arts in Medicine student organization.
