About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Proceedings of the Florida State Horticultural Society are published annually. Publications reflect presentations of the annual meeting of the Florida State Horticultural Society. Peer-reviewed and non-referred submissions are accepted. Papers should describe significant, original research on topics that are relevant to horticulture in Florida. 

Papers will be published in the following sections: Krome Memorial Institute; Citrus; Vegetable; Handling & Processing; Ornamental, Garden & Landscape; and  Natural Resources. Complete Author Guidelines are available at the FSHS website: http://fshs.org/author-instructions/

Peer Review Process

All submissions will be screened by the editors and reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers. 

Acceptance of abstracts for presentation at the meeting does not imply acceptance of manuscripts for publication in the Proceedings.

Journal History
