Autogeny in the Ceratopogonidae: Literature and Notes
Abstract
A brief review is presented, in the form of a species list with appropriate literature citations, of the occurrence of autogeny in the Ceratopogonidae. There are 38 species in which the phenomenon is now described. Notes on parthenogenesis, fecundity and ovarian development are appended.Downloads
