The Soybean Looper: Pupal Weight, Development Time, and Consumption of Soybean Foliage
Abstract
Pseudoplusia includens (Walker) reared singly on soybean leaflets at 29.4 @+ 1.5@*C consumed 81.96 cm of leaflet area. Approximately 97% of the consumption occurred during the last 3 stadia. Development time from eclosion to pupation was 13.74 days. Mean pupal weights for larvae reared in the laboratory on leaves or artificial diet were less than those of field collected larvae.Downloads
