Control of Leatherleaf Fern Borer (Lepidoptera: Pyraustidae) with Systemic Insecticides
Abstract
Seven systemic insecticides were evaluated for control of the leatherleaf fern borer, Undulambia polystichalis Capps, on leatherleaf fern, Polystichum adiantiaforme J. Smith. Data indicate that carbofuran, monocrotophos, and dicrotophos gave satisfactory control when applied on a 5 week schedule at the higher rates used in these tests.Downloads
