Light Trap Collecting Compared with General Collecting at the Archbold Biological Station

Abstract

The species of insects taken in light traps, over a period of 12 years at the Archbold Biological Station, Florida, are summarized by orders and families and compared with those collected from the same area and those known to occur in Florida. Various specialists have contributed data concerning species collected at the Archbold Biological Station and species known from Florida.
