Abstract
There is a fine line between the psychology of sending a child to a juvenile corrections facility based on punishment versus rehabilitation. The importance of guilt, punishment, and rehabilitation in the juvenile justice system has long been recognized. The essence of this concept, meanwhile, has yet to be adequately characterized when shown in a court of law.
