Abstract

The 5th larval instar and pupa of Eryphanis reevesii (Doubleday, [1849]) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae: Brassolinae) are described from material reared in southern Brazil. The caterpillar hostplant is Bambusa vulgaris Schrad (Poaceae).
