Abstract

The immature stages of the Philippine endemic butterfly Athyma gutama canlaonensis Okano & Okano, 1986 are described and illustrated from specimens collected on Mount Talinis, Negros island, Philippines. This is the first detailed documentation of the biology and life history of the species.
