Other Contributions: Influence of Various Potato Varieties on Populations of Cyst Nematodes

Abstract

Under field and greenhouse conditions, population increases of Heterodera sp on the most important Ecuadorian potato varieties were studied. The populations were analyzed according to the rate of multiplication, that is, the relation between initial (Pi) and final (Pf) population. The varieties studied were. Chola, Catalina, Puna, Uviila, of the species Solanum andigenum L., and Chaucha of S. phureja.
