Abstract

The relationship between infestation levels of Heterodera larvae and yields of the potato variety "Santa Catalina" (Solanum andigenum L.) was studied. The Oostenbrink model was employed for which the formula and constants are as follows: Y = -0.38 x + 62.2, where, Y means kg/14 m, x means larvae/cm soil, correlation coefficient. r = -0.82, standard error Sy.x = 6 kg., tolerance limit = 13 lv/cm soil.
