Nacobbus aberrans was found frequently in potato fields in Cochabamba, Bolivia, parasitizing roots of the weed Spergula arvensis. Root galls contained mature females with egg masses. Histological changes induced by this nematode suggest that S. arvensis represents a good host for N. aberrans with important economic implications for the management of this pest. This association is described for the first time.Accessibility Summary:
