Research Papers: Algunos Indices Bibliometricos en la Literatura Bananera Sobre Radopholus similis Durante los Ultimos Veinte Anos

Abstract

The objective of the study was to delineate some fundamental lines in the banana research about Radopholus similis. The main research centers on the subject were identified. The volume of documents and the languages of publication were also determined. Banana exporting countries publish less than banana producers and the English language predominates in publications. A balance exists between fundamental and applied research. Subjects dealing with variables on the rational use of nematicides, and biological control have been excluded from research endeavors.
