Abstract

In order to study the population behavior of the most common nematode genera in Venezuelan soils (Rotylenchulus spp., Meloidogyne spp., and Helicotylenchus spp.) 7 different crops: tomate (lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), onion (Allium cepa L.), pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.), corn (Zea mays L.), sorghum (Sorghum vulgare var. saccharatum L.), marigold (Tagetes patula L.), and carrot (Daucus carota L.) were tested with the purpose of establishing recommendations for crop rotations.
