New record of Punctodera punctata from Spain

Abstract

During a nematode survey of wet habitats in a mountainous area in the south of Spain an abundant population of a cyst nematode species, identified as Punctodera punctata (Thorne) Mulvey et Stone was found. The morphology and morphometry of cysts, juveniles and males are briefly described.
