Abstract

Supplementary descriptive data, which extend the known range of variability of Criconemella yossifovichi (Krnjaic 1968) Luc et Raski, 1981 supported by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observations are given. The head morphology of this species is also compared with other members of the genus Criconemella, which have large submedian lobes. The disc-like head end formed by the enlarged submedian lobes fused dorsally and ventrally and without lateral connections confirms the great variability of the Ā« head end patternĀ» in Criconemella species.
