Abstract

The survey showed that the root-knot nematode, M. javanica, is a serious problem for vegetable production in the region, and most probably throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Citrus nematode is the second major problem in the area. Immediate action should be taken to control, or at least to limit, their damage and spread in the region.
