Granonchulus helicus sp. n. (Nematoda: Mononchida) from North India

Abstract

Soil samples collected from around the roots of sunflower H elianthus annuus L. in a garden at Bareilly, India, contained specimens of an undescribed species of Granonchulus Andrassy, 1958. The nematodes were killed by gentle heat, fixed in F.A.A. (4: 1) and processed by the slow glycerine mixture method.
