Abstract

The Longidoridae (Nematoda, Dorylaimida) of the Italian Regions. XIV. Friuli-Venezia Giulia. A survey of Longidoridae nematodes was carried out in Friuli. Four species of Longidorus: L. euonymus Mali et Hooper, 1974, L. moesicus Lamberti, Choleva et Agostinelli, 1983, L. proximus Sturhan et Argo, 1983 and L. silvae Roca, 1993 and four species of Xiphinema: X. globosum Sturhan, 1978, X. index Thorne et Allen, 1950, X. pachtaicum (Tulaganov, 1938) Kirjanova, 1951 and X. taylori Lamberti, Ciancio, Agostinelli et Coiro, 1991 were found. Biometrical characters and brief descriptions of the species encountered are provided.
