ASOCIACION ENTRE TARAXACUM OFFICINALE Y MELOIDOGYNE HAPLA DETECTADA EN ARGENTINA

Abstract

Se analizaron las alteraciones histológicas inducidas por Meloidogyne hapla en raíces de Taraxacum officinale, provenientes de la provincia de Neuquén, Argentina. El nematodo alcanzó el estadio de hembra madura y produjo la característica masa de huevos. La maleza, de vasta distribución en el país, representa un huésped favorable para el nematodo brindándole la posibilidad de ampliar su rango de dispersión. [Histological modifications induced by Meloidogyne hapla in the roots of the weed Taraxacum officinale growing in Argentina are described. The nematode reached the mature female stage and produced the typical gelatinous matrix with eggs. The weed is widely distributed throughout the country and as it appear to be a good host for the nematode may enhance its dispersion.]
