FIRST RECORD OF HETERODERA CYPERI IN SPAIN

Abstract

Heterodera cyperi is found for the first time in Spain, on roots of Cyperus esculentus. Stunting and failure of plant emergence are evident in infested fields. A brief description of the Spanish population is provided.
