Abstract

The purpose of this publication is to reestablish the replacement name Rhizococcus wangi (Miller and Gimpel, 1996), new combination, for Rhizococcus rugosus (Wang, 1982) (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Eriococcidae) to promote nomenclatural stability by adhering to the guidelines of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature.
