New records of South American Coreidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreoidea)

Abstract

Three new country records of South American species of Coreidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreoidea) are reported: Salapia dimidiata (Dallas, 1852) from Peru, Leptoglossus ingens (Mayr, 1865) from French Guiana, and Vilga serrulata Montandon, 1897 from Paraguay. Taxonomic notes are presented for Acidomeria cincticornis Stål, 1870. Updated distributions are provided for each species, and notes are added regarding species occurring in Paraguay.
