Descripción de un nuevo género y especie de longicornio áptero de Perú (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)

Se describe e ilustra Polytuberotum metachroma Pineda y Cid-Arcos gen. nov. y sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) proveniente de Perú. El nuevo género es fácilmente distinguible de Tuberolamia Breuning por su frente transversa y pronoto con espinas laterales y protuberancias discales.
Abstract. Polytuberotum metachroma Pineda and Cid-Arcos gen. nov. and sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) from Peru is described and illustrated. The new genus is easily distinguished from Tuberolamia Breuning by its transverse frons and pronotum with lateral spines and discal protuberances.
