Abstract
We summarize distribution records for 22 Mecoptera species known to occur in Mississippi. These include the first specimens of Bittacus occidentis Walker, B. strigosus Hagen, Hylobittacus apicalis (Hagen) and Panorpa insolens Carpenter to be recorded from the state.
