Abstract

A system that uses microbeads for the culture of bacteriophgic nematodes is described. Glass-bead culture was found to simulate a soil microcosm more closely than did agar culture i n terms of CO[sub2] production , number of nematodes produced, and nematode size. Key Words: bacteriophagic, natural environment, glass microbeads.
