Oviposition activity of Toxorhynchites moctezuma (Dyar and Knab) was studied in two colonies in the laboratory by collecting eggs every hour from 0515 hours to 1915 hours. In both colonies peak oviposition activity occurred at the pre-dusk period and a secondary peak at the pre-dawn period. The implication of this result is discussed.
