Abstract

Discussion and criticism of any new scientific idea is always welcome, refreshing, and educational. I thank Miguel A. Gonzalez for his discussion of this new idea for the explanation of the anomalous radiocarbon ages which have plagued coastal sedimentologists and Quaternary geologists for some time. There are, however, some points which I need to address.
