Abstract
Life history and distribution notes are given for Pseudothyris sepulchralis (Boisduval) (Thyrididae) from the southeastern United States, particularly for Alabama and Florida, as well as Maryland. Descriptive notes and illustrations are given for immature stages, as well as the Smilax (Smilacaceae) hostplants. Previous hostplant records, on Clematis (Ranunculaceae) and Vitis (Vitaceae), are shown to be in error.
