Gregory Turner, EdD, MBA/MPH, FSU College of Medicine

Education and Professional Experience
Gregory H. Turner (Ed.D), University of Pittsburgh) is Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Faculty Development at Florida State University College of Medicine. He received his B.A. (honors) in anthropology and M.P.H. degrees from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He completed an MBA degree at Loyola University of Chicago. His doctoral degree is in program evaluation in higher education. He has conducted numerous faculty development workshops, served as an educational consultant, serves as a reviewer for the journal, Clinical Teacher, and has published articles in several peer reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, Pain Medicine, and Clinical Teacher. In 2012, Turner and colleagues at Florida State University College of Medicine received The Shining Star of Educational Innovation Award from the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Group on Regional Medical Campuses. His most recent article, “Critical Analysis of the Effectiveness of Evidence-based Practice Teaching Questionnaire (EBPTQ),” was published by MedEdPORTAL of the Association of American Medical Colleges, online Directory & Repository of Educational Measures (DREAM).
