Abstract

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a tool that can be successfully used in a landscape setting. The nature of the landscape lends itself to IPM because of the diversity of plants, the possibility that the landowner prefers a less toxic environment, and the presence of showy insects adds to the charm. There are steps to take to make a successful transition from traditional chemical control to IPM.
