CHOLULA MINUTA, A NEW SPECIES OF MYODOCHINI (LYGAEOIDEA: RHYPAROCHROMIDAE) FROM JAMAICA
Abstract
A new species of Cholula (Myodochini) from Jamaica is described. This represents the first record of this genus for the Caribbean. Cholula minuta can be differentiated from other species of the genus mainly by its size. It is one of the smallest species described to date, being similar in size only to C. parvus, but C. minuta is unicolorous, while C. parvus has a mixture of black, brown and white coloration.View this article in BioOne
