AbstractPhoturis trilineata (Say) is assigned to Aspisoma Laporte, and the type female is redescribed. Photuris trivittata sp. n. is described from behavior voucher specimens, and behavioral data are presented and discussed. Aspects of abdominal segmentation and aedeagal structure of Aspisoma and Photuris are described.
