AbstractTwo new species of predaceous Lestodiplosini from southern Florida are described and illustrated. Lestodiplosis laticaulis Gagne preys on Diaspis echinocacti (Bouche) (Homoptera: Coccoidea: Diaspididae), and Thripsobremia thripivora Gagne preys on Gynaikothrips ficorum (Marchal) (Thysanoptera: Phlaeothripidae) and Trioza magnoliae (Ashmead) (Homoptera: Psyllidae). The new species are compared to their congeners and the status of Thripsobremia is discussed.
